What are your fees?
Fees are determined based upon the amount of time spent with the doctor. If you wish further details, please call our "new patient appointment secretary" at 301-652-6760.
How do I reach the doctor after hours?
The doctor shares his cellphone number with patients. Most calls are answered promptly. Occasionally there is a wait of up to one hour. If a call back is not received from Dr. Brodsky, you may reach our answering service by calling our office at: 301-652-6760. Infrequently, the doctor will sign out to another doctor. For life-threatening emergencies, always call 911.
What happens when the doctor is not in town?
The office is staffed when the doctor is away, and there is always a doctor on call. Dr. Brodsky keeps in close contact with the office when he is out of town and will usually be available by phone to resolve minor health problems.
Will I have enough time to discuss all my problems?
We work very hard to not rush your visit with the doctor. We schedule 90 minutes for new patient appointments. Return visits generally run between 30-60 minutes. We are happy to schedule extended time upon request.
How long does it take to make an appointment?
If you are an established patient and are ill, we will see you the same day you call. Additionally we have slots available each week for new patients.
Does the doctor run on time?
We recognize and appreciate that your time is valuable. With few exceptions, the doctor is on time.
Does the doctor return telephone calls and emails?
Dr. Brodsky is proud of his availability and the service he provides in the office as well as on the telephone and through email. Consultation charges are based upon time. These charges are the same, whether in the office, on the telephone, or through email.
Will a nurse practitioner, physician assistant, or medical student see me instead of the doctor?
No. You will always be seen by the doctor. The doctor will often have medical students visiting the office on Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons. If you find this objectionable, you should schedule your visits at other times.
